  1. Image 14

First of all, I really like the idea and concept of this portrait. It is not a typical portrait style of someone just sitting in front of a camera and smiling. Instead this person used the silhouette of the person, and put the personality of the person into it without including what they look like. To deal with composition, the subject seems a little too far away. The photographer could of made the silhouette of the subject bigger, to put more of the nature/ waterfall into the image to show more of the waterfall, instead of just a little. The lighting of this image is very bright, everything is out there and stands out, but it could be a little too bright. The white background takes away from it and could have been fixed once again by making the silhouette bigger to fill the overall image more. Photoshop is definitely used in this image, and you can tell. But it is not in a bad way. The Photoshop in the image is what makes it unique and different, not like a normal portrait. The Photoshop used in this image was to showcase the interest of nature. This shows the personality of the subject because it tells me that this person likes being outside or out in the woods and adventuring. So the idea of the Photoshop used was in a good way. Overall, this image does show the personality a bit of the subject. Definitely a non-traditional portrait. But first impressions was that I really liked it, it just has a few things to fix, which is easy. The image itself could have been dropped down a little too because there is a little white bar at the bottom of the photo that takes away from it being a great image, just little mistakes that can be fixed. But overall, great job!
