What is Johnson able to do solely with things that exist in the natural world?
Johnson is able to make things in nature move, he takes stills, then moves the objects so it looks as if they are moving around the photo.
What does this do to your options when you are shooting nature?
This makes me think, it isn’t that hard to do, I may want to try it, and see how it works, It adds a big difference and draws eyes easier.
How might you capture a still image of nature after viewing this series?
I might capture a still image of nature by taking a photo, but to add something nice, move stuff around, take another still, then do it again.
What influence does seeing this have on your own photography?
I might want to try something like this, move around all the rocks and then take a still, and keep doing that until I have a mini video thing.

-He can give life to them, give them movement and a bit of personality, even if it’s only in video.

-It gives me more options, it shows me that nature doesn’t have to be a still image.

-I might look for moments when tree’s or leafs, or other things are unusually active and full of life.
What influence does seeing this have on your own photography?
-It shows how I could bring personality and life to everything, more than just people and animals.

He was able to use them in different ways to make different effects with them. To think in ways you haven’t and to look for something everyone sees into something they wouldn’t think of doing. Honestly i dont know what i would do, i would probably try a few different things and find one that i think loos good and that i like. Its haveing me take simple things and make them not so simple, what i like about these photos is that he found something that he wanted to do and made it look amazing.

Moving nature with creative ideas and capturing nature moving and creating images with it. When i’m shooting nature I can think of how to get a new image with nature in a different way. Take multiple shots of a moving image but make sure it comes out clear. It’s made me open my mind up to more ideas and to think of the possibilities I could do with nature and capture an image that if different than what others may envision.

What he is able to do is take natural things from our world and create a way for them to flow together to create amazing patterns. What this can do for shooting in nature is to find ways to combine nature to create new shapes and patterns. You might have to be really creative, but it’s still possible. What I would do is walk around a park for a bit, gathering things that can go together, then try to make a shape with them all to capture my photo.

I think that he takes things that he sees that are around his surroundings and make some sort of cool pattern and then he makes a animation out of them I think. Every time when I shoot and there is nature surroundings usually there is not a lot to do but when I looked at those photos that made me change my mind about what you can do when you are trying to shoot a photo in nature so now when I looked at those photos you can do anything with shutter speed or something else. To be honest I have no idea on how the photographer those photos but my best guess is that he used stop motion animation so he took multiple photos and then in Photoshop he put those photos together and then he made a animation out of them. Just looking at these photos make me want to do those type of photos and also make me want to learn more on how he did those photos.

Johnson is taking nature and telling a story with it, while allowing them to move. It gives us more ideas to shoot not just simple pictures. I would take corresponding photos that is on the same concept and then put them together. It makes me want to take more creative work.

I can use use tripod and get a long exposure of animals walking or even deer jumping over a fence would be cool

Like i was saying you would just capture it piece by piece. What influence does seeing this have on your own photography? I want to be as creative as that, these are very good images and as I grow I would probably never do that but there is nothing wrong in trying.

What does this do to your options when you are shooting nature? It provides us with an extra tool to help us make a motion picture. We’ll be able to turn nature into a motion picture.

Have a tripod on deck, and take multiple pictures while moving the object and put all the images into one slideshow to make it look like it’s moving.

He is making things in nature, i think he took multiple photos and put them together to make the effect of the objects moving. It gives me the idea that i should maybe move things around and just manipulate the scene. i would capture them in different point of views and move things around before taking the photo.

Johnson is able to create movement and patterns solely with things that exist in the natural world. This broadens my options when shooting nature because you can really reshape and add more creativity to nature shots. After viewing this series I feel like I could add more creativity when I’m capturing a still image of nature. I could move leaves and rocks around to create a pattern or an image or different shapes. Seeing this makes me want to really create my own photos and not just shot what I see but add something or change something.
