He probably uses photoshop or some sort of editing to make it seem a bit more realistic then just having the little people be on the original image.
What happens to the viewers brain and imagination when we look at these photographs?
The viewer gets interested, they imagine this really happening like they are actually moving and talking, etc.
What is he able to do with size and scale in these images?
He is able to make the images look realistic with size and scale, because the scale is right so everything looks natural.
What do you feel when you look at these photos?
I feel like those are real people and the objects are just giant, but I obviously know it isn’t like that, but it makes it seem that way.

How is Tanaka able to transform everyday objects into scenes for his miniature people to live in? I liked the photo of the doughnut and how it was a rock wall, he takes simple everyday items and looks at it in a different way that no one else would look at it to make it something special.
What happens to the viewers brain and imagination when we look at these photographs? It takes me back to when I was a little kid. It takes me back a way different area of thinking.
What is he able to do with size and scale in these images? He scales out the size of the product he is making and he makes it like the everyday products are a lot bigger so these little people actually look like they are doing something.
What do you feel when you look at these photos? I really like these photos a lot. I think they are a great way to use everyday products and make them really fun.

-I feel as if I am seeing these images from a distance and that these “people” are actually real.

What I imagine is that the little people are actually moving, farming, drumming, and other things with these objects.
Tanaka uses close camera shots to make the little people look lifesized from a distance, which I really liked.
I feel tiny when I look at these photos, like I am one of the little people in the pictures.

These photos make me really happy. I think it’s such a creative and cute photography style.

He uses things that are totally unrelated to what they are meant to look like. He uses the unconventional things to portray everyday things like sand, a slide, trees and so on. I think that the viewers brain is so interested in these photos because who would have thought to take images like these with miniature action figures. He is able to make the small objects look actual size with the set up and items he uses in the photos.I feel happy and laugh at how creativity funny they are.

Tanaka is able to transform these pictures because she thinks outside the box and the pictures actually make us think about the picture and then gives us a image of what’d it be in real life. The size is so small but hes able to blow it up so you can get a clear view of whats happening in the picture.The picture makes me feel surprised because i never thought of people using those household items for these kind of pictures.

Tanaka uses everyday objects and add them in the picture he takes by making it represent something that he can create to make it look like an another object or thing. It wow’s the brain and makes it show what the photographer had created. He does amazing at size and scale to fit the objects with a perfect size to make it more realistic. I feel amazed at what he did it’s very creative and looks realistic.

He is able to use everyday objects as a “playground” for the little figures. It is funny because we know what the aritist is using and it kind of mkaes us think. He is able to make the everyday objects to scale. I think they are funny!

Tanaka uses everyday objects and transforms them in to some amazing art. It just blows the mind with how complex some of the images are and how he would create them. He does some amazing sizing and scale to allow use to get the full picture of what he wants us to grab from it. It is very amazing with what he does with his work

Tanaka creates a scene to make the everyday objects come to life. It makes the brain think its an actual scene and not just your everyday objects. He zooms in really close to make it look like a scene but not close enough for us to see that its not made up of everyday objects. I feel creative when i look at these photos.

He is able to make them the correct size so that way the items he is using correlates with the environment that the photographer changed the object too.

I feel like I can make images just like these, just not as good. I also feel impressed looking at these pictures because they are super well made.

He takes everyday objects and then adds miniature people to the picture to make the objects seem like something else. For example, he turns a stalk of broccoli into a tree with a swing and makes a sponge look like a desert of sand. It’s almost like an illusion and makes the viewer take a second glance at the photo. I think it sparks the viewer’s imagination as well. He is able to use size and scale to make his photos look realistic and transform them into a totally new object. I like these photos a lot, it kind of makes me feel like a kid again.

What happens to the viewers brain and imagination when we look at these photographs? Makes us think of the last time we’ve seen someone doing what they’re doing makes us remember things. What is he able to do with size and scale in these images? Make them look to scale, like the people are normal sized since the objects used arent much bigger. What do you feel when you look at these photos? Amazed that someone would have though of doings that, it looks great and he matches things very well.

He uses the angle and having curtain areas in the picture to make it look like the people are alive. We assume there to be motion where there isn’t. He can make a world with only a few inches of space

the photographer in these images used an interesting imagination when formulating these pictures and was able to use certain objects to appear like other larger items and with the accompaniment of small people the comparison in scale makes the once small objects appear like large deserts or floors for ninjas to block shuriken with. and when we look at images like this they make us stop and reevaluate the small and seemingly insignificant items we see in our daily lives such as sponges or pencil shavings. the use of size and scale is key in making this images work. by making tiny people to go with these small objects the viewer immediately looks at the people as just as big as them because of how close they are. this effect coupled with the object makes the scale of the object appear much larger due to scale comparison. and i feel like trying harder to look harder at my own world as he did and see the small things that could appear large and wonderful if we put them in the right context.
