Focus plays a big role in these because the photographer doesn’t want the whole image to be in complete focus, just one small area is sharp and the rest is a blur. Yes these images are intriguing and like something ice never seen before. I think the macro lens allowed to give you a super zoomed image that was perfectly clear.
