    I think they demonstrate lowkey lighting.

    What makes you think that?
    The black background makes it pretty obvious, then you have the lighting which you can’t tell where and how many lights there are, etc.

    What was the photographer’s approach in creating this photo series?
    The photographers approach was to come up with a photo series that looks like a portrait of goats.

    Did they treat the work with seriousness or with humor and or whimsy?
    Half was serious and half was funny in my opinion. I think this because it takes effort to get good pictures of moving animals, and then they also made it fun, etc.

    What emotions do you get by looking at these photos?
    I get a happy emotion because the goats are funny looking and looks like they are kinda smiling, so it makes me feel happy.

    What lighting set up do you think was used in the creation of these images?
    One light in my opinion, with a black background and that light was straight on.

  3. Low key lighting is demonstrated in these photos because there isn’t a lot of light being used in the photos. It appears that they treated it with humor. I’m confused when I look at these photos because I don’t understand why these animals and not a different subject. The lighting for these images were all black and white bringing out the subject.

  5. These photos feature low key lighting. This is because most of the photo is poorly lit, but the central subject is lit very well.

    The photographer’s approach with this series is to show the hidden beauty within goats.

    The way the photographer shot these photos appears to be in a very serious way, not meant to be humorous at all.

    I don’t really feel any emotion when looking at these photos, honestly. They’re goats.

    I think that maybe 2 lights were used for these photos. One at either the left or the right, and the other possibly above or in front of the goats.

    It all looked the same in mood to me.
    To show the looks of goats and sheep and compare them.
    It seems more serious with the lighting and lifeless accepted of how they look.
    The emotion I feel is creped out looking at this guys fetish with animals.

  25. Low key lightning because its has dark tint. I think that because the lightning is all that bright, it has a dark tint. I guess the photographer really liked goats.They look like they took it seriously, because it looks like a serious photo.     Giving the goats a more human portrait type feel, and make them seem to have their own personalities,

    I think that the pictures look very serious and well shot. But on the other hand, they are goats.

    Like the goats feel like they are truly killing the photo shoot, as well as the goats resembled a person with their own life and emotions.

    Off camera flash with the lights behind the goats and a reflector aiming straight at their face.
