  5. with the black and white effect it makes the photo scarier than the way they are. I feel that if these photos were in color I think that they would be less scary and not as intense. When I see these photos I feel that the kids in the photos are kind of weird and not normal. I can probably use the effect in my photos as well and make the photos scary too.

  6. With the photos being in black and white it comes with a different meaning and has more of a scarier feel to them. They make me feel like their trapped in a nightmare and it creeps me out a little. The idea seems dark and has a nightmares feeling to the pictures.

These photos would look more bland and not as scary if they were in color.

When I look at some of these photos, it really puts into notion that the mind of a child can be a very dark place. And that itself is just creepy.

What I could do for my own photos is use a grainy filter and dark contrast to make my photos look scarier.

  11. these images show that the lack of color or dark tones are very good at invoking sadness or fear, an effect the photographer uses well and some of the photos make me feel like i’m happier they’re just nightmares as most waking up from one usually are. Other photos in this series also make me to see that a nightmare can be much more abstract than just spooky imagery.
