  3. A few of these photos have slow shutter speed in them, which is something we have learned in this class.

The first photo is my favorite. The black and white filter and blur of the shot, along with the desperation on the man’s face makes many emotions run through my head.

I could do the one from Chicago of the man staring into the police officers face.

You would mainly need to know good exposure, lighting, and focus to obtain this picture.

  6. My favorite picture is between the volcano, the beach with the storm rolling in or the first picture where someone is trying to get the child out of captivity. If I could go to the beach I could take a photo of a storm rolling in if there was one but to get it to look that powerful and strong would be a little hard for me because you have to be at the right place at the right time.

  7. From the looks of it there is some fast shutter speed photos. My favorite photo would be the ones with the whales because your capturing the life of the whales but also the divers around them. One of the photos that I could possibly do is probably the man and the police officer. In order for me to create an image like them i would need to know where to take the photos so i could make them as similar as possible.

  8. We learned shutter speed, rule of thirds, unusual frames, unusual perspective, and a lot of things in Photoshop. My favorite was either the volcano one or the one where they are underwater. I like the volcano one because because of the lightning volt and the stars behind the volcano, I just love the way it looks. I like the one underwater because you see all the divers going to take pictures, you see tiny fish, and bubbles, its just a cool photo. Shutter speed, TV mode, and how to use Photoshop.

  10. Some of the things that I learned, that are also in these photos, are Rule of Thirds, Contrast, Unity and Fast Shutter Speed.

I’m not sure I have a favorite, but I do have a top 3 and they are: 1) Volcano w/ lightning, (2) Chameleon eating an insect, (3) “Whale Whisperers”. I like these photos because they wither have different variety of colors or show the power and coolness of/within nature.

I couldn’t do any of my top three for geographical reasons, but I could do a similar picture liken to the Amazon tribe children.

Good location for the picture, and how to make part of the image dark while still being able to use color in the background.

  12. I’ve learned how to use shutter speed this week and I think that the slow shutter speed has been expressed in the first photo. My favorite is the photo which is of a little girl drowning in a sea of different vibrant colors, flowers and patterns. It has a lot of visual affect and my eyes are very drawn to this photo. Even though this photo is super busy, the little girl is still the focus.I think I could shoot a similar photo to the photo of the little girl standing behind the bars with a plastic veil over her face. To recreate this image I would need a little girl, a fence and something to place over her face.

My favorite photo is the girl with the flowers because the color goes along with the girl and also the girl is wearing cool colors and the flowers match it. I could maybe do the one with the kids. I think you need to be an expert at Photoshop to do those photos.

  16. Rule of thirds, slow shutter speed, point of view.
My favorite would be slow shutter speed or point of view because to me light painting is so cool and point of view just makes everything so different and i just like it. i could probably re create the photo with the kid and the cop, i would just need to find someone that happens to have a cop uniform they could get their hands on

  23. One thing that I have learned from these photos in this class is fast shutter. My favorite one pf these photos is the A ‘Maya’ girl. This one is my favorite because it is so unique. The picture is only about one thing. It doesn’t look crazy or as if its too much. I feel like I can do the A ‘Maya” girl picture because all it is is props no real technique for the camera. I do not think that I need to know any more to take this photo.

  24. the black and white exposure, how some are in b&w and others are in color. getting that perfect lightning in order to see the people. I do like the first photo with the man in the baby , because it does tell a story and it makes you curious as to what is going on there or how did the photographer take the picture with just the shine of the moonlight. neither but it wouldn’t hurt to try the first photo or the one on the beach with the girl but i feel the one on the beach will be more harder then the moonlight one. The full on how they did it, from beginning to end because i’m more of a visual learner so seeing the person do it will help me out.

  28. Using slow shutter speed and rule of thirds are some of the things seen in these photos that we have learned about in this class. My favorite shot is of the whale and divers. I like this one the most because it is of something that most people will never experience and it makes you feel like you are there in the water too. I think I could take a photo like the one of the police officer and protester. I would need to make sure I took it at night and that I knew how to focus the camera correctly on their faces as well as how to shoot from below.

  29. In the first photograph, I noticed an unusual framing device, the barbed wire, to frame the man who is passing the baby’s face. In the second photo, and the photo with the chameleon’s tongue, there is the use of Rule of Thirds, the whale being the subject, and the chameleon also. The picture with the police officer shows unusual perspective. My favorite is the one in the very beginning, the very last one, and the one with the mountain erupting. I could take right now the picture with the police officer, but i would need to know how to instruct the models to change their facial expressions.

Probably create an image between 2 subjects, having conflict between each other, and change the color of the image to show affection/emotion. I’d need to know what subjects i’m going to be using, as well as props/IOS/Aperature.
